What’s new for 2010?

A churchmate who’s an IT expert changed our computer operating system to Windows 7. At first I was hesitant considering the havoc that Windows Vista has created, but he was persistent that it is manageable and would surely be an advantage on our side. True to his words, I found out some features that were better than the older version.

1. The Alert pop ups which produced a havoc and head ache for the users have been reduced.
2. The looks (user interface) have been modified, specially with icons that tell more about the application they lead to.
3. A new feature called “Jumplist” is being introduced from where we can quickly browse and move to most recently accessed files and programs.
4. Windows 7 claims to use memory very efficiently, and hence resulting in better machine speed and performance.
5. It boasts of being more secure with more security implications added to the OS and the web browser embedded with it.
6.Faster Uploading and Downloading

New Year is coming, how about changing your OS to Windows 7? What other new things coming up for 2010? Ooooppsss before I forget, I want contemporary leather sofas for next year. I guess this would be a good combination with my new Windows 7 in a flat screened monitor.
