I am Mourning… but still THANKFUL …

Posted on

5:30 a.m. yesterday we were awakened by the ringing of our Phone. We were greeted with the bad news that the wife of our friend already died. I’m sad to realize that she’s no longer with us but I’m relieved to know that she will no longer be struggling over her fight with the big C. There isn’t much that is good about the death of a friend, but I can have some good feelings about this death because I know that my friend is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus. Her life of work for her Lord and her family is over, and she is now ready to receive God’s eternal blessings for her faith.

Thank you Lord for your Saving Grace.

Thank you for preparing a place for us in Heaven.

Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for our Sin.

  1. What a wonderful testimony you are to our faith… to be thankful even in death, to see God's had even in our hardships and heart aches… God bless you!

  2. My heart aches for you – even though I can be thankful with you that a sister in Christ is now free from all sin and suffering.

Dear one, never forget that even Jesus wept, and those of you in mourning are not alone. ((hugs)) and prayers for your friend, her family, and all who knew her.

  3. I'm so sorry to hear of your friend's death…but to know she is now in Heaven…something to be really thankful for!

  4. Amen…

She is finally free and at home.

Have a good week and an amazing week. It's going to be a wonderful year in service to our King. Hugging you. Lynn
