Christmas Shopping for the Elderly

Posted on

The prime of the BER months have recently rolled in, and I know suddenly it startled something in me. Christmas is in December and although it’s way too early to go Christmas shopping, there might be a bunch of us who might need to get their in-laws something for Christmas and are really worried on what to get them. Well, I’m glad that my mother in law is not as delicate as most people her age. I reckon she can still join a fun run without breaking her knee so that says a lot about her health considering her eldest just recently completed her PhD. I can get her clothes and bags and that would be very useful for her. But for those of you whose in-laws are not that able bodied, there are still tons of things you can get your in-laws.

Although December’s still so far away, it’s not bad to consider your options now. A wheelchair might be good, or a Trapeze Bar if his/her has been in use for years now.

Or you could get one for your children’s room, they would love it. Mine would probably have fun with it for one whole week, one month tops before they get bored or too busy to do so. In the meantime, you still have two and half months to think your gifts through and save up for them.

  1. For most Filipinos, when ber of month start we always thought it is a Christmas months all the way to Dec… Anyway, this is a great tips to every one, I probably visit the site later and look around for gifts for my in-law..

  2. that’s a sound idea. I wonder though, that still needs some installation right? It looks solid and reliable. My dad gets some arthritis attack at times and I think this would be good for him.

  3. It feels like Christmas already here in the Philippines coz it is already a ‘Ber’ months. This gift would be lot of help to elderly parents; a practical, useful gift.
